Flip the Script #2

In this episode of Flip the Script, we dive into the magical world of Harry Potter.
What if the Dursleys were actually good people?
A pretty popular theory, the concept is simple: horcruxes will corrupt people, as seen when Ron wears the Slytherin pendant. So if Harry is a horcrux, it stands to reason that the Dursleys were exposed to him over at least 10 years and became horrible people thanks to his influence.

What if Harry was actually more Voldemort than Voldemort? From Film Theorists, does the act of separating your soul happen as a 50:50 split, in which case, each subsequent horcrux has exponentially less of the original soul, meaning that Harry had more of Voldemort’s soul in him by the final confrontation than even Voldemort himself!

And what if Voldemort is actually the victim? In this theory, looking at it from the perspective that Voldemort never had any choice whatsoever. His mother conceived him by duping a muggle with a love potion, which means that Voldemort was born without the ability to feel and respond to love. Then being raised in less than nurturing environments, and then the worst of the worst, Dumbledore coming in, recognizing this kid is not stable, and releasing him to a world that increases his power WITHOUT putting in any type of buffer or rails to help this child manage their clear emotional issues. Dumbledore is indirectly responsible for EVERY death in the Harry Potter series as well as using kids to fight his battles and using them as bait.

The script being flipped results in the same conclusion. We need better leaders who care for others. Le fin.
