What maps can teach us about mindfulness

Even if we are pretty zen, sometimes it helps us to look back and reflect to see where we have come from, if we are still moving towards our destination and if we still want to go there. Looking back and being past-minded helps us. Planning and being future-minded helps us. The ability to switch between the appropriate mind helps us. There is more than just the present.
